SAPIC Project : Wood to the aid of bees
The SAPIC project (From Cévennes apicultural knowledge to knowledge for bee health) aims to understand the interactions between the material of the hive and the health status of bee colonies. To do this, we study the resilience of bees, on the one hand to the Varroa destructor (parasitic mite of bees), and on the other hand to the hygrothermal environment.
