BioWooEB's successful participation at the 48th Congress of the International Research Group on Wood Protection

Claudiane Flora was awarded the Ron Cockroft Award (see photo on the right) for the quality of her thesis work (directed by Marie-France Thévenon, BioWooEB and Nadine Amusant, EcoFoG). It has therefore had the honor to present part of its results on the search for chemical indicators of duraminization for the prediction of natural durability in Dycorinia Guianensis for the rational use of wood material.

Kévin Candelier presented part of the work conducted at BioWooEB in different scientific sessions. He also, along with Philippe Gérardin (Lermab, University of Lorraine), facilitated the session devoted to the thermal modification of wood. This IRG congress was once again a rich and fruitful week.
