BioWooEB participation at the 2017 edition of the International Conference on Advances on Clean Energy Research (ICACER)

The ICACER 2017 conference focused on the following topics: energy, solar energy, wind energy, environment and health, sustainability. Participants at the conference were mainly young researchers, scientists, academics and industrialists working in the field of clean energy.

The ICACER 2017 conference was held in Berlin, Germany, from 7 to 9 April.

BioWooEB Research Unit was represented at this conference by Grace Chidikofan, a doctoral student from Benin, co-directed by Jerome Pailhes (I2M, Bordeaux) and Professor Yezouma Coulibaly (2iE, Ouagadougou), and under the guidance of Marie Sawadogo (2iE) and François Pinta (BioWooEB, Montpellier).

Her participation in the congress took place thanks to research conducted at Cirad in november 2016.  The entitled article "Assessment of environmental impacts of tars release from biomass gasification plant for power generation in rural area" was submitted and accepted. At the end of the conference, Grace was awarded with the “Best Presentation Award” for the session "Solar Energy and Green Energy’’ thanks to the quality of her oral presentation. Finally, the article will be published in Energy Procedia.
